Wedding Photography at Verrado Golf Club
Driving out to a wedding venue next to the White Tank Mountains west of Phoenix in the town of Buckeye is always a time of reflection and planning on how the wedding photography will go. It’s only about an hour from Tempe where we live but going west is always a fun direction since we live in the east valley.
The Verrado Golf Club has one of the most beautiful surroundings that make it ideal picturesque location for weddings. Right off the lake and next to the golf course with the mountains looming up in the background is where the ceremony will take place.
Everything is right here from the bride dressing to the ceremony and then the reception. As far as location is concerned it’s as far west in the Phoenix valley as we ever go but once we are here, it is well worth the drive.
This was one fun couple, and they were really into this special day. I am not sure if I have ever photographed the bride and groom doing somersaults before, but it happened. Not once but they did it a couple times.
The bridal party also wanted to run toward us photographers as we were trying to set up for some portraits. I think they had a lot of pent up energy from the wedding itself. We were ready for it and I think we captured many of their fun playfulness all day.
Verrado Golf Club Wedding Photographer
This is one of those weddings you do not forget very soon. My brother Shaun was also the second shooter on this day. I always look forward to working with him. The two of us have photographed many weddings together over the years. We know how to complement each other’s photography skills.
