Savannah Georgia Destination Wedding Photography

I flew out from Phoenix and traveled to Savannah Georgia to photograph a destination wedding.

Pleasantly, to my surprise it was turning out to be a longer trip than I first thought because the bride had asked me if I would come a day early to photograph her sisters high school senior portraits.

I did so and it was a blast and It got the creative juices flowing to shoot the wedding.

Alyssa and Chris were the bride and groom and the wedding took place at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Georgia.

I photographed the rehearsal as well as rehearsal dinner the night before.

On the day of the weddings I started with the bride and groom getting ready and then gathered everyone up to do most of the portraits beforehand.

We went outdoors at Hyatt Regency and I began with the bride and groom.

We walked down the East river street and along all the water front shops. I shot along the whole way and stopped and utilized some of the beautiful backdrops the city afforded us.

What a cool place it was!

On the walk, back to start the ceremony it started to rain a little and we had to stop a few time underneath store front covers and inside some of the shops.

I am so glad we had decided to shoot the photographs beforehand because we probably would not have made it outside after the wedding.

The ceremony was in a beautiful Hall inside the Hyatt called the Savanna room, which overlooking the River and reception following in an adjacent room.

I came home to Phoenix on Sunday evening a content man with so many cool images to sort through with both the high school portraits and the wedding images.
