Romantic Hawaii Photography
Hawaii Photography Romantic Team Work
I had to take a working trip to Hawaii, and I was able to take my wife. I am a professional wedding photographer by trade, but my wife is no slouch when it comes to taking photographs.
I think many of my photograph skills have rubbed off on her. She has taken some amazing images of our family that have told a story over the years. We have two children, a boy and a girl and they have given both of us great opportunities to document our time together.
I brought my DSLR equipment and I will show those images on another blog post but this one is a combination of photographs from the both of us using only our cell phones. Cell phone technology has improved so much over the years so I would not hesitate to use it when the right conditions lend themselves to their use. I still love my DSLR because it can do so much more a different time.
Cell Phone Hawaii Photography
We were in Hawaii for about a week, but I only had to work my job for 8 hours during the day, so it gave us lots of time to see the sites and of course, take lots of photographs. We had a lot of fun and saw many things. It was a special romantic time for us both. By the way, the food was top notch.
I know we will look over these images in the years ahead and reflect on. This special time. Is that not what photography is all about? We are our family’s historians.
One of the things that my iPhone does very well is panoramic photographs like you see here. It takes some practice to do it well but the benefits of such a wide angle image is truly remarkable. I used to do this with my DSLR but it is much more complex with having to shoot a number of photographs and then piecing or stitching the images together in Photoshop. If you are on a cell phone, rotate your phone to a horizontal position to get a much better view of this image.

In the next week I will be making a blog post on the HDR (high dynamic range) photographs I took with my DSLR on this trip to Hawaii. I think they turned out really well and I think you will enjoy seeing them so come back for a visit. If you fill out the email notice on the right it will notify you when I post up that blog.
